Asia is located on the beautiful island of Oahu, where she was born and raised. She picked up her first disposable film camera at the age of 8, graduated to a little point-and-shoot digital camera that was handed down by an Aunty, and has never stopped shooting since. As she incorporates water elements into her work with different brands and private clients, she continues to blur the line between commercial photography and fine art. At the end of the day, her constant pursuit is to create images that draw people in and introduce them to the world below the surface that not everyone is able to see.
"I feel so fortunate to be able to photograph in one of the most stunning places on earth with natural backdrops at every turn. What types of photography do I do? I enjoy shooting lifestyle, portrait, landscape, architectural, and underwater photography. Shooting a variety of subjects inspires me to think outside the box and pushes my creativity. I love being able to capture everything I encounter."
